8400 ION

 

The 8400 ION™ meter is the choice for Direct Access Metering in the “deregulated” utility market.  Now the utility and the energy purchaser can have communications with the same device at the same time for real-time energy use information.  This meter combines information and communications in a secure socket based package. 

Voltage sags/swells can be automatically detected and logged.
Waveform recording of disturbance for engineering analysis.
Harmonic information through the 63rd harmonic.
Optional external digital and analog I/O for control, monitoring and alarming.
Multiple protocols supported:  ION, Modbus RTU, DNP3.0
